Hi! I’m Knox

The walls of my childhood playroom were lined with computers, so I’ve been solving digital problems my entire life. Combined with my interests in psychology and visual art, I was drawn to studying human computer interaction design a decade ago. Today, I’m a dedicated product designer with over 7 years of experience who lives to create and problem solve.

I shipped countless features for 10+ products at General Motors, and now I’m looking for my next adventure. I have a track record of increasing usability, functionality, aesthetics and user adoption. My background in visual art and lifelong love for technology helps me create beautiful and user friendly experiences accessible for all.

As a nonbinary person of color, I know it’s important to consider diverse perspectives in user experience, and I bring that intersectional mindset to all of my projects. Outside of work, I stay inspired by my hobbies including fashion styling, music production, science fiction books, videogames, and illustration - fueled by homemade espresso. My favorite type of project is by far is a redesign.

Most recently, I served as a lead product designer on numerous SaaS, eCommerce and B2C products at General Motors. I led design innovation for several internal dealer tools and designed new features and native apps for Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC and Buick.
